Per School policy; county, conference and state rules governing athletics, require students athletes to travel to and from away contests with the team. Students will be dismissed when the bus returns to the home school. It is understood however that on rare occasions, extenuating circumstances may necessitate that a parent request an exception to this rule. For this reason, a request form has been developed. This form should be completed and delivered to the coach at least 48 hours prior to the event to allow time for processing. If the request is denied, or the coach does not have administrator approval to release a student to his/her parents at an away venue, the coach is not permitted to release the student until the bus returns to the home site.
